Hellenic Professional Women (HPW) is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2025 HPW Woman Rising Scholarship Award!
Up to two scholarships per division will be awarded of up to $1,500 to HPW members or their children/relatives pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies during the 2025-2026 academic year.
Application Requirements
To be considered, applicants must submit the following by April 15, 2025:
Winners will be announced in May and honored at an awards ceremony in June 2025.
Scholarship Essay Prompt (Upload with application): In 300 words, reflect on the following quote:
“The secret of happiness is freedom, and the secret of freedom is courage.” – Thucydides
How does this quote resonate with your own experiences and aspirations? Provide an example of a Greek woman—historical, literary, or contemporary (outside of your immediate family)—who embodies these principles. Analyze how her story inspires your academic and professional journey.
Note: Essays generated using AI will result in disqualification.
